Yesterday the Bogota Lady Bucs rebounded from their last loss with a big win, at home, vs Saddle River. Playing a more focus game Bogota race off to a 20 point lead in the first quarter, before surrendering a basket to Saddle River. Even with a large lead the Lady Bucs kept playing had, not letting the Lady Rebels back in the game. This gave a chance to rest some starters, while giving valuable playing time for the team. The substitute continued the solid play allowing the lady Bucs to raise their record to 4-3 for the season.
Marissa Veron lead the lady Bucs in scoring with 25 pts.
The Lady Bucs travel to New Milford today for a 7:00p game
The Boys team started very slowly as the traveled to Saddle River, falling behind by 14 points after two quarters. A strong second half saw Bogota force the game into overtime, but ended up losing by the score 57- 49.
Ruben Acosta lead the Bucs in scoring with 17 pts.
Today the Bucs host New Milford with the tip-off at 7:00p
