Girl Scouts Bridging Ceremony

5- June- 2012
This pass Sunday the Bogota Girl Scout had their Bridging Ceremony at Veterans Park in Ridgefield Park NJ. This is a time where the girls move -up to the next level of Scouting. This is also a time to remember what they have done, and learned, in the past year. The bridge they used was a colourful banner with a "mirrored" stripe at on end, so the girls can see themselves moving forward.
There were a few games, until the rain came, and plenty of food and time to talk with each other about everything. After the sky cleared the ceremony went on. One of the most symbolic part was when the Junior Scouts handed off their old vests at the beginning of the Bridge, then walk to the other end to receive their ribbon for the Cadette level.
After a the friendship circle, and Hymn, was shared with the younger scouts there was a chance for more games, and fun.
