The Bogota Volunteer Fire Dept. is hosting a trip to Atlantic City on Sunday 17- March. This is to help raise money for the Mutual- Aid Softball League. The money raise will help with the cost of playing in this league. The Mutual- Aid Softball League consist of a number of Fire Dept from around Bergen County. Since there are so many different Municipalities in Bergen Fire Depts. are often call upon to assist one another when needed. The league was formed so the different Departments could meet in a relaxed atmosphere and get to know the members of other Firefighters. Over the years the league has formed friendships between Firefighters, and this in-tern has allowed the departments the opportunity to work closer together when needed.
The trip is set to leave the West Board St Station promptly at 9:00a on Sunday the 17th. Cost of the trip is $40 which will include a $15 voucher upon arrival.
