Scholarship Awards

   On Monday night the Bogota High School handed out their awards from academic achievement,  along with a number of scholarship to those students who have excelled during this school year. A number of local and area organization were present to honor the students.
  Students were also awarded certificates to recognize their achievements in the Sciences , Mathematics, Social Studies, Fine Arts, English and World Languages.  Those students who  interned, and volunteered  in the community were also honored for their efforts.  Students Athletes who had earned county wide awards received them at this ceremony.
  The evening was capped off with the two highest honors as Lauren Lal received the Principal Award for service to honor her participation  in various clubs and groups in school including  the Student Congress. She was also cited for her time volunteering at the Hackensack University Medical Center, which also earned her a Presidential Pin.
  The other top honor went to Casey Murphy who received the Henry Luthin Scholarship from her in school and the community.
