Steen Playground

A group of Parents & Students of Steen School met on Saturday to do the next part of painting the Playground at Steen. A number of project were taken on to brighten up the school yard before September.
A Four Square space, a Hopscotch board, a large circle with shapes, and a new coat of paint on the Basketball court were painted throughout the day. Organized by the Steen PTO to give the playground a fresh look for the upcoming school year, as well  as give the student more options to have some physical activities during lunch, and  after school. While most of the project had been finished another paint day will be needed to finish the Basketball markings. The Volunteers were treated to coffee,& donuts, and water , & veggies to keep them going during the days work. The Steen PTO supplied , and paint  & stencils while the Parents & Students supplied the hard work to improve the Playground.
