Bogota
An evening of Salsa Dancing hosted by Blooming Bogota. This will be a fund raiser for Isabel Rodriguez's Blooming Bogota project. This will be held at the Bogota Recreation Center located at 162 W. Main St. Bogota, NJ. Doors will open at 8:00p and continue until 10:00p. It has a suggested donation of $20 payable at the door. Salsa Dancing will be available from Ms. Rodriguez. with music being provided by DJ Ron. There will be refreshments available for purchase. Ridgefield Park
The final event in the McGowan Park Summer Concert series is a performance by Soul Finger providing a blend of Rock and R&B dance music. This concert will feature performances by Ridgefield Park High School music teachers Mr. Simeone and Mr Elmo. The concert is scheduled to start at 7:00p in McGowan Park located on the Bergen Turnpike in Ridgefield Park, NJ It is advised that anyone attending bring their own lawn chairs ,or blankets. Rain date is the next day Thursday-29-Aug.

The Bogota Public Library will have a live animal presentation of " Snakes n Scales" to learn about different types of living creature that live underground. This is part of the Library's Summer reading program " Dig into Reading" This will take place in the Bogota Senior Center (on the second floor) located at 375 Larch Ave. This event will start at 6:00p and is open to all.
