Ridgefield Park
The next event in the McGowan Park Summer Concert series is a one man performance by Mark Rust. He will have a show of various musical styles, as well as some of his own original works. The concert is scheduled to start at 7:00p in McGowan Park located on the Bergen Turnpike in Ridgefield Park, NJ It is advised that anyone attending bring their own lawn chairs ,or blankets. Rain date is the next day Thursday-22-Aug.
Friday 23-Aug.- Sunday 25-Aug. Lyndhurst, & Teaneck
Batstock 2013
A three day event that will showcase the benefits of bats in the local ecosystem, and raise awareness of White Nose Syndrome which is reducing the bat population in the Eastern United States.
23-Aug. will be at The Meadowlands Environment Center is located at Two DeKorte Park Plaza Lyndhurst starting at 6:00p going until 9:00p. It will feature Joe D'Angeli from the Wildlife Conservation & Education Center of Ridgefield Park who will be displaying some of bats from the Center.
24-Aug there will be a concert at Mexicali Live located at 1409 Queen Anne Rd. in Teaneck, NJ. Doors open at 3:00p with the performance starting at 6:00p. Tickets are $10.
25-Aug. a evening bat walk will take place at Teaneck Creek Conservancy located at 20 Puffin Way Teaneck, NJ. Joe D'Angeli from the Wildlife Conservation & Education Center of Ridgefield Park will also be there with some of the bat from his center.

Rivervale
The Bergen County Historical Society will be holding a Wine Festival at New Bridge Landing in River Edge, NJ. This event will showcase some of the wines that produced in the State of New Jersey. It will start at 12:00p and go until 5:00p and feature wines from seven New Jersey Wineries, as well as live music and provided by local restaurants. Tickets for this event are $20 in advance, $25 at the events $10 for children 12-20 years old and a special $10 ticket for a Designated Driver. In admission to the festival will also include three of the historic structures at New Bridge Landing include The Campbell - Christie House, the Demarest House, and Steuben House

The next concert in the Bogart Music Festival will be a performance a Piano Fantasy featuring Jeb Dennis. This is scheduled to start at 4:30p and take place in the Bogart Memorial Reformed Church located at 263 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ . For more information please call 201-591-9729
