Trees for Bogota

18- March- 2014

   The Bogota Green Team, along with the Bogota Environmental Commission  will be giving away tree saplings  on Saturday 29- March. The gift of these trees is made possible by the NJ tree Recovery Campaign to help restores trees that have been damaged, or fallen from the affects of Hurricane Sandy. These tree will be given away on a first come, first serve basis. They will be distributed at the Olsen Park picnic shelter near the Recreation Center. It will begin at 10:00a and go until 12:00. Potting soil and guidelines will be given along with the tree. The trees will be distributed free of charge to Bogota resident. The Bogota Green Team will also be planting some trees in Olsen Park, and is looking for Volunteers to help. Olsen Park is located at 162 W.Main St. Bogota, NJ.
