On Monday 2- June the Athletic Dept. of Bogota High School held the third annual Awards dinner. This is a chance to recognise the Student Athletes for their accomplishment over the 2013-2014 School Year.
Of the team achievements the Lady Bucs Volleyball won their Fourth Straight Section and State Group 1 titles. The Boys Cross County Squad won The Bergen County Group D Championship and was Co-Champion of the NJIC Patriot Division with Cresskill. The Boys Track and Field Squad won the Bergen County Group D Championship. In individual honours over 17 Athletes were selected to All Conference teams. Carly O'Sullivan was named North Jersey Player of the Year by NJ.com. Jonathan Profitt won the Group 1 State Championship in the Triple Jump. One special letter was given to Alberto Castillo for Cross County. Mr Castillo season was stopped short because of a stroke he suffered in the Fall, and it is hope he will be able to rejoin the team for his Senior year.
