Bogota Sports

9-Sept.-2014
The Bogota Bucs Soccer team was given  a hard welcome to Varsity Soccer. In what was originally schedule as a scrimmage against Ridgefield Park but was change to a regular Varsity game for today match. Ridgefield Park came away with a 7-0 win against Bogota. The Scarlets took a 5-0 lead  after the first 45 minutes, then added two quick goals after the restart.  Coach Mike Carrasquilla talks about how his team  was playing in their first game  against a Varsity club that have been playing together for 3-4 years.  Rough seas is what a true Buccaneer  should except  so now the  Soccer program at Bogota needs to learn how to handle themselves. This is a place to start from, and the players need to show that they can be committed to grow as a the team, and also  to show how well they handle any storm that comes their way.
The next play against  Hasbrouck Heights in what will classified as a Junior Varsity match on Thursday 11- Sept. with a 4:00p kickoff. This will be play at the Soccer field in New Overpeck Park in Ridgefield Park. NJ. This will also be the Official Home opening game for Bogota Bucs Soccer.
The Lady Bucs Volleyball team with years of training and a strong commitment to being the best they can be at all times, played their first game after being eliminated from the Jersey Classic on Saturday.
