This weeks Events

   Some events happening in and around Bogota for the week starting Tuesday 11- Nov.
Note: Regular trash pick-up  for Tuesday 11- November will be postponed until Friday 14-Nov. This is due to the Veteran's Day Holiday on 11-November. Those who are  schedule for Tuesday trash pick-up will have it picked upped on Friday 14- Nov.  Recycling and yard waste pick-up as well as leaf clean-up will stay the same.

  Bogota
    The Bogota VFW Ralph Hall Post # 5561 will host its  52nd annual Veterans Day ceremony.  This is a chance for the citizens of Bogota to show their thanks and appreciation for what the members of the Armed Services both past & present mean to the Country. Doors open at 6:30 pm, ceremony starts at 8pm. It includes announcement of Bogota's citizen of the year and its young volunteer award. Please come by for the ceremony and refreshments. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend. The Ralph Hall post is located at 240 Leonia Ave. Bogota, NJ

Thursday -13-Nov.

The Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting  and work session starting at 7:30p in the Senior Center on the second floor of the Bogota Public Library.  At this meeting Councilman Chris Keleman will be officially sworn in as the next Mayor of Bogota. The Library is located at 375 Larch Ave, Bogota , NJ. This meeting is open to the public.

Bogota High School Sports

 Tuesday-11-Nov.
  Bogota
   The # 2 rank Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team play #10 Elmwood Park in the Quarterfinals of the 2014 NJSIAA  Group 1 Playoff Tournament. This will be play at Speary Gym.

Friday-14-Nov.
   The #6 ranked Bogota Bucs Football team will play their opening round game in the 2014 NJSIAA  North Jersey Group1 Playoffs. They play in Section 1 and will travel to #3 ranked Becton for the game on Friday 14- Nov. with a schedule Kick-off at 7:00p

Saturday-15-Nov.
  The Bogota Bucs Boys Cross Country squad will run in the NJSIAA group 1 Championship meet  at Holmdel,
