   The First " Meet the Mayor" of 2015 will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman from 5:00p to 7:00p in Borough Hall.  This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about  Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis.

  The Bogota Bucs Boys Basketball Team plays Cresskill at Home in Speary Gym. Tip-off is schedule to be at 7:00p The Lady Bucs Basketball Team plays at Cresskill they have a 4:00p start.



Tuesday- 6-Jan
Bogota

    The Bogota Board of Education will have their annual re-organization meeting  and work session  commencing at 7:30 p.m.  At that time the Trustees that won seats on the Board will be sworn into office. This will take place.in the Cafeteria of the Bogota  High School. The Public is invited to attend this meeting.

Wednesday- 7-Jan
Bogota
   The Bogota Wrestling Squad will have a meet at Emerson starting at 7:00p


Thursday-8-Jan
Bogota

  The Bogota Bucs Boys Basketball Team plays Palisades Park at Home in Speary Gym. Tip-off is schedule to be at 7:00p The Lady Bucs Basketball Team plays at Palisades Park they have a 5:30p start.



Thursday-8-Jan
Bogota

    The Bogota Public Library will introduce a " Dr. Who" club This is open to anyone who is a follower of the BBC series or who would like to learn about it. It will be held in on the second floor of the Library starting at 7:30p. There is a second meeting schedule for Thursday 15- Jan. at the same time.   The Bergen County Audubon Society is hosting a " Save the Eagles Day" event to observe the Bald Eagles that nest  along the  Ridgefield Park side of Overpeck Creek.    The Puffin Cultural Forum presents Greg Abate performing jazz standards and music from his own recordings with a highly acclaimed quartet: Mark Soskin (piano), Harvie S (bass), Bill Goodwin (drums). All About Jazz reviewer David A. Orthmann described Greg’s previous performance at the Puffin as “incendiary…Abate integrated exhilarating risk-taking with a reassuringly steady, comprehensible course. And in doing so he produced vigorous, emotionally-rich sounds that radiated joy and energy.” Performance is scheduled to start at 4:00p.
