  In Bogota Sports The Bogota Bucs baseball team had a 13-0 win at Hawthorne Christian Academy on Monday 6- April. The next play against Waldwick on Friday 10-April at the Fiegel Field Baseball Diamond with the first pitch scheduled to be at 4:00p
 
  Some upcoming events in April.

   On Monday 13- April the Bogota Public Library will have a " Meet & Greet"  with its new Director of the Library Radwa Ali.  Ms Ali started  this position in  December of 2014 and has begun to transform the  Bogota Library into more of a Community Center. Some of her new programs include a " Dr. Who" club to take advantage of the popular television series. Another major addition is the "Smarty Pants" lecture series. This is a chance for Bogota residents to meet and hear about different subject along with a chance to learn about local authors and their book.
    This event will allow the public a chance to meet Ms. Ali one on one and discuss her ideas and goals for the Library. It will be held at the Senior Center on the second floor of the Library, and will start at 7:30p This is a free event and open to the public. The Library ask to reserve a space by calling 201-488-7185 of by email at director@bogtoa.bccls.org  on or before Thursday 9- April.

   A joint venture of The Bogota High School PTO, Steen school, and Bixby school has come to form Bogota Airlines.  There first operation will be a Tri- School International Festival  on Friday 24- April at the Bogota High School.  This is a chance to tour the world through the cultural background of the Student who attend the Bogota  Public School System.  The event is being hosted by the Bogota High School Multi-Cultural Club.  Tickets for this travel experience start at $5.00 for advance and Seniors, while tickets at the door will be $8.00 at the door.  Departure time is scheduled for 6:30p
