The walk was started by Grand Marshall Shea Bianchini cutting the ribbon at the start line. She was followed by the Bogota High School Marching Buccaneer Band setting the pace for the walkers.  The routed covered a one and a half miles around the park. It started at the bandstand crossed over the Environmental Walkway and around Lady Bucs Softball field. It then crossed the W. Main St to loop around the Little League fields , then back across  W.
