Help your child foster their love of reading by letting them be Maggie's Reading Buddy. Come on down, pick out a book, and read to Maggie in the Children's Section. Mondays at 4:00PM

Monday -29-June
Bogota

       The weekly " Meet the Mayor"  event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman  This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about  Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.

Monday -29-June
Hasbrouck Heights , NJ
    Hasbrouck Heights will be holding their Annual Fireworks Display Celebration at Gary Depken Field (Route 17/Franklin Ave). The event starts at 6pm, with Fireworks beginning upon nightfall. Admission can be purchased at the gate or by several local businesses. The rain dates for the Fireworks are scheduled as July 1 and July 2.

Wednesday-1-July through Sunday -5-July
Leonia, NJ

  The Leonia Sports Boosters will he holding their annual Fourth of July Carnival at Overpeck Park. The fair features rides, games, food, fireworks, and more. Times are Weekdays  and Sunday  6:00p to 10:00p , Saturday 6:00p to 11:00p On Saturday they will have a Fireworks display starting at Sunset.

Wednesday-1-July
Teaneck , NJ

    There will be the first  Teaneck Community Band Concert of 2015. This will feature a performance by  Katrina Elsnick on Piccolo. This will be held at the Votee Park Band Shell and is scheduled to start at 8:00p Votee Park is located at Palisade Ave &  Colonial Ct in Teaneck, NJ. In case of inclement weather, the rain site is Benjamin Franklin Middle School on Windsor Road.
   This will be the first of five concert at Votee Park that will occur  each Wednesday in July.

Thursday -2-July
Bogota
  The Bogota Public Library will host a tribute to Frank Sinatra on the 100th anniversary of his birth. This will be presented by Dave DeLuca and is scheduled to start at 7:00p This will take place on the second Floor of the Bogota library located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. Thursday -2-July
Bogota
The Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting  and work session starting at 7:30p. It will take place in the Council Chambers of Borough Hall. Borough Hall is located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.  This meeting is open to the public.

Saturday-4- July
Ridgefield Park, NJ

   Will host a number of event in Celebration of America's Independance. This will begin with the reading of the Declaration of Independence  starting at 7:30a  at the Flag Memorial located at Euclid Ave & Mt.Vernon St. After that there will be a Flag raising Ceremony by the Girls & Boy Scouts.
  The Baby & Youth Parade is scheduled to begin at 9am at Poplar St. and Euclid Ave.Honor students lead the parade. This parade consists of village and visiting children, who walk, ride in decorated carriages, elaborate floats or personally decorated bicycles. You will see red, white, blue and lots of patriotism on this day. Prizes are awarded and a grand time is had by all.
  The Civic Parade steps off promptly at 11:30 at Preston St. and Hudson Ave.. A Grand Marshal, selected from our community, leads the parade. Fraternal and village organizations, youth and sporting associations, bands and visitors march with pride. Village residents and visitors have enjoyed this event for over a century. Thousands participate and even more enjoy this magnificent parade from the sidelines. Again, awards are presented in numerous categories.

Saturday-4- July
Hackensack, NJ

   The City of hackensack will host it's annual Fourth of July Celebration at Foschini Park. This is a free event feature game, food & rides starting at 9:00a. There will be a performance by the Infernos scheduled to start at 7:15p. The a Fireworks display at Sunset.

Saturday-4- July
Teaneck  , NJ
    The Township of Teaneck will be Independence Day Parade  starting  at Queen Anne Road and Queens Court beginning at 9:30a
