    Read to Maggie the Beagle
Help your child foster their love of reading by letting them be Maggie's Reading Buddy. Come on down, pick out a book, and read to Maggie in the Children's Section. Mondays at 4:00PM

The Bogota Library will be hosting a Mighty Studio: This will be an Art class to assisting beginning , and current Artist.This will take place in the seniors Center located on the second floor of the Library at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. This is a free event and opened to anyone 16 years of age and older. It will start at 5:30p and go until 7:00p . It is asked that reservations be made  because of limited space. Reservation can be made by calling the Library at 201-488-7185  of visiting their website at http://www.bogotapubliclibrary.org/

       The weekly " Meet the Mayor"  event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman  This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about  Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.

Tuesday-23-June

 The Steen School will be holding it's Sixth Grade graduation for the Class of 2015 starting at 7:00p this will take place in the Steen Gymnasium located off Orchard Terr. Bogota, NJ






Wednesday  -24-June
Bogota

    Bixby School will be holding it's Graduation Ceremony for it's Sixth Grade Class of 2015. This will be held in The Bixby Gymnasium starting at 6:30p Bixby School is located at  Maplewood & Fishers Ave. Bogota, NJ




Thursday  -25-June
Bogota

  The Bogota High School Senior Class of 2015 will hold their Commencement Ceremonies.   Weather permitting it will be held at Fiegel Field starting at  6:30p. Fiegel Field is located at Feller  Pl. Bogota, NJ. In case of inclimate weather it will be moved to the High School Gymnasium. Bogota High School is located at 2 Henry Luthin Pl. Bogota, NJ




Thursday  -25-June

The Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting  and work session on Thursday 25-June. This was originally schedule to be 18- June , but was moved back one week.  This meeting will also have a schedule starting at 8:30p in order not to interfere with the High School Graduation.. It will take place in the Council Chambers of Borough Hall. Borough Hall is located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.  This meeting is open to the public.

Saturday-27-June
Bogota


The Bogota Green team is holding it's annual shredding event on Saturday 27- June at the Bogota Recreation Center. This will run from 9:00a to 1:00p. This is a chance for  anyone who wishes to dispose of sensitive, or other personal business documents in an environmentally safe and secure way.  A secure shredding truck will be onsite for the receiving of those documents  being disposed of.  They will be shredded as they are loaded into the truck. Camera in the truck can be view by anyone wishing to see that their documents are reduced to slivers of paper. After leaving Bogota the truck then processes to a burn centre where the refuse is then turn into  paper pulp power which is then recycled into other paper produces.
   Volunteers will be on hand to assist anyone who needs help bring their documents to the shredding truck. The Bogota Recreation Center is located at 162 W. Main St. Bogota, NJ. For more information please visit the official Bogota Borough website at;  http://www.bogotaonline.org/
