Monday -13-July 
Bogota

    Read to Maggie the Beagle help your child foster their love of reading by letting them be Maggie's Reading Buddy. Come on down, pick out a book, and read to Maggie in the Children's Section. The time will be moved to Monday mornings starting in July please call the Library at  (201) 488 - 7185 to  find out exact times and to register.

    The Bogota Public Library will host a Cartoonist workshop starting at 10:30a. This will be run by local Cartoonist  Patrick Teran to help young student learn about the art of making comic books. This will show how to do sequential art, storytelling, and how to make artsy heros.  This is a free event , but anyone attend must  by calling 201-488-7185 or  visit their web site at : http://www.bogotapubliclibrary.org/

Monday -13-July 
Bogota

       The weekly " Meet the Mayor"  event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman  This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about  Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.

Tuesday-14-July 
Bogota

   The Bogota Public Library is hosting a Summer Science series for Student in third grader or higher. The next session will be on Tuesday 14- July starting at 4:00p.  This weeks activity  will explore Light and Colour. Advanced registration is required for each week, this is needed to determine the amount of materials needed for that week's session.  There will be a different topic for each session , the session will continue throughout the Summer.

  The Bogota Public library is extending it's Unplugged Family Game night to a weekly event that will take place every  Tuesday in July starting on 7-July. The games are scheduled to begin at 7:00p  These will be an evening to play board game with Family and Friends.

Tuesday-14-July 
Hackensack, NJ
     The first of the Hackensack  Summer Concert Series will start with a performance by  "The Duprees". They will  perform songs from the 1950'-60's  along with other music from the Big band & Doo-Wop era.  This is a free events  starting at 7:30p and will take place on the Courthouse Green located at Main and Court Sts. Hackensack, NJ

Wednesday-15 -July 
Bogota      

   Bogota Beautiful has their next board meeting starting at 7:30p. It will take place in the Council Chambers of Borough Hall. Located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. The Public is welcome to attend.

Wednesday-15 -July 
Ridgefield Park, NJ

  The next of the McGowan Park Summer Concert Series features a performance by  Rutherford Community Band. They will perform  a mix of music from  Broadway,  Classical  & Popular tunes.  The Concert is schedule to start at 7:00p, with a rain date of the following day at the same time. Admission is free of charge,but it is recommended to bring a lawn chair, or blanket.
    McGowan park is located along the banks of Overpeck Creek on Bergen Turnpike Ridgefield Park, NJ. For more information please contact the RFP. Clerk's Office at 201-641-4950, or John Anlian at 201-943-1110

Wednesday-15-July 
Teaneck, NJ

    The Teaneck recreation commission will present a performance by  the Teaneck Community Band Concert featuring  Matt Bilyk  as the Trombone soloist. It will be held at the Votee Park Band Shell. This is Schedule to start at 8:00pm and go until 10:00pm. This is a free concert 
  In case of inclement weather, the rain site is Benjamin Franklin Middle School on Windsor Road.

Thursday-16 -July 
Bogota  
      The Bogota Public library will a host a Classic Movie night starting at 6:00p. This night's presentation will be the Gregory Peck film  "To Kill a Mockingbird." This is free to the public , and will take place on the second floor of the library located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ

Thursday-16 -July 
Bogota 
    The Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting  and work session starting at 7:30p. It will take place in the Council Chambers of Borough Hall. Borough Hall is located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.  This meeting is open to the public.

Saturday-18 -July 
Bogota  

    Bogota Beautiful is hosting Saturday morning Yoga classes. These will be  starting on Saturday 11-July and will continue through August. Classes will go from 9:00a to 10:00a  They will be held in Olsen Park in Bogota. These classes are open to anyone regardless of age, or  experience.  The classes will meet at the Bandshell in Olsen Park depending on the number of attendees classes may be held in the bandshell or on the lawn in front of the bandshell. Everyone you wishes to attend is required to provide their own mat, towels, and water. Comfortable clothing that will allowed  free and ease of movement  should be worn. Saturday-18-July 
Bogota

    The Bogota Public library  will have their first fitness session starting at 10:30a to 11:30a. This will incorporate a number of different techniques  from the "Team Beachbody® Fit Clubs". This will be a free event to anyone 18 years or older. All fitness levels are welcomes. Anyone who attends must bring their own Yoga mat, towel, and water bottle. Comfortable exercise clothes are recommended.    This will continue every Saturday through August.
