Bogota Sports

   A recap of the game played by teams from Bogota for Friday-17-October.

   The Bogota Junior Bucs football team  traveled to  Little Ferry for their game. The Pee-Wee team posted a 13- 6 win in the first game. In the second game the Junior team had a 0-0 tie, and in the Senior Game they lost 12-25.
   They next play Englewood on Saturday 24- October at home in Feigel Field. The Pee-Wee game is scheduled for an 11:00a kickoff with the Junior and Senior games to follow.

   The Bogota Men's Soccer Bucs traveled to Midland Park and stopped their losing streak with a 3-2 overtime victory. Bogota took a 1 goal lead after the first half. The Panthers would outscore Bogota 1-2 to sent the game into extra time. After one scoreless session Bogota would score the winning goal in the second round of extra time. David Marose, Conor McDonnell and Maximiliano Scarpis would each score a Goal for Bogota.

   The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team hosted Glen Rock at Speary Gym. They came away with a 2-0 (25-12:25-13) win. Bogota playing more of a total team game took full advantage of any mistakes Glen Rock would make. Four Lady Bucs Julia Goni, Anna Granquist, Amanda Manzo, and Kaliana  Vasquez each record 4 Aces. Ms. Manzo also had team high in Assists with 24 and Service Points. Ms Goni, Ms Granquist, Ms Vasquez and Lisbeth Suarez all had 4 Service Points highlighting balance in serving. Samantha Gioiosa lead Bogota with 16 Kills.
