The Bogota Recreation Department will be offering day during the the Winter Vacation of the school in Bogota. They will be offering a four day program starting on Monday 28- Dec. to Thursday 31-Dec. Hours will be from 8:00a to 6:00p. Anyone wishing to sign-up for this program must do so by Wednesday 23-December. Any Child attending must bring their own hot, or cold lunch. Fee for all four day will be $125.00 per Child. $50.00 more for each additional Child. Bixby School will host it's annual Winter Dance for all 5th & 6st grade of Bogota Schools. This will be held in the Bixby Gymnasium from 7:00p to 10:00p Tickets are $5.00. This is open to All 5th & 6st grade Students attending Bixby, Steen, or St. Joseph's schools. Pizza and other refreshment will be available. All Student must be picked-up by 10:00p and signed in and out by a Parent or Guardian over 18 years of age. If a different person is picking up a Student the Bixby chaperones must be informed at time of drop-off.

Members of the Bogota Volunteer Fire dept will be escorting Santa Claus on his annual visit to Bogota before Christmas. He will tour the Borough to make sure that all the Children of Bogota are working hard to be on his nice list. He and some of his Firefighter helpers will be passing out lollipops for Children, of all ages who come out to wave at him as he passes by. His tour is scheduled start at 1:00p.

The Steen School is having their Winter Concert for the Parents of Students 4th Grade and younger. This will be held in the Steen Gymnasium starting at 10:00a

The Bixby school will be having their 18th Annual Holiday Show for the Parents of Bixby Students. This will take place in the School Gymnasium starting at 10:30a. Cost of admission is a can , or box of a non-perishable food item to be donated to local food banks

The Public Schools of the Bogota Board of Education will have an early dismissal for the start of their Holiday break. They will reopen on Monday 4-January-2016 with a full schedule.
St.Joseph's School will have a noon dismissal for the start of their Holiday break. They will reopen on Monday 4-January-2016 with a full schedule.
Bogart School will have a 3:00p dismissal for the start of their Holiday break. They will reopen on Monday 4-January-2016 with a fullschedule.
