Snow Removal

   The Bogota police Dept. has issued the following alert about street parking in order to help with snow removal from the Borough's streets:


Please remove your vehicles from the street for snow removal. Vehicles that are covered in snow or parked on snow covered streets will be ticketed and towed. We are unable to grant exceptions at this time. All vehicles in posted overnight parking areas must be cleared of snow and removed as well. B.O. 7-3.10

Vehicles may not be parked over 6 inches from the curb line. If your vehicle is parked next to a snow mound and it is more than six inches from the curb it will be ticketed and towed. NJSA 39:4-135

Please clear you sidewalk of snow. Property owners of sidewalks that are snow covered will be issued summons. Please do not throw snow in the street. Person's throwing snow in the street will be issued a summons. B.O. 3-5.1

We appreciate your cooperation so that we may clear the roads at quickly as possible.
