Bogota Sports

 Results from Wednesday-28 games played by teams from Bogota. The Men's Soccer Bucs played at Hawthorne Christian Academy  and suffered a 1-6 loss.  Colin McDonnell scored the only goal for Bogota in the first half. Bogota's record is now 0-9. They next play at Saddle River River Day School on Friday-30 Sept, this is scheduled to have a 4:00p Kick-off.

  The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team play at Waldwick and came away with a 2-0 (25-9: 25-6 ) win.  Julia Goni lead Bogota with 8 Service Points with 2 Aces, Anna Granquist also scored 2 Aces. Samantha Gioiosa had 12 Kills , with Kaliana Vasquez having  16 Assists and Alyssa Vazquez adding another 10 Assists. Bogota's record is now 9-0. They play their next three games at home in Speary Gym. On Thursday 29-Sept against Hawthorne Christian Academy at 4:00p. On Friday 30-Sept against Saddle River Day School at 4:00p, and on Tuesday against Immaculate Heart Academy with a start time schedule for 4:30p.

  The Bogota Cross Country Squads raced against Midland Park, and Cresskill at the Darlington Park race course. The Lady Bucs split their meet losing to Cresskill, and winning against Midland Park. Alanah O'Brien finished  with Bogota's fastest time followed by Emma O'Brien, Angelie Japersaud, Ashley Gomez, Catherin Zapata, and Gabrielle Grant.
   In The Men's race Bogota place  five of the top six runners to sweep both races.  Danny Daurio placed first overall followed by James Draney, Ryan White,  Cole Geraghty and Daniel Rivera.  They next compete in the Shore Coaches Invitational on Saturday 1-Oct at Homdel, NJ There next league meet will be Wednesday -5-October against Waldwick and Palisades Park at Darlington Park. The Men's race will start at 4:45p and the Women's race will start at 5:00p
