Saturday Sports

    On Saturday 1-Oct the Bogota Cross Country Squads competed at the Shore Coaches Invitational at Holmdel Park in Holmdel, NJ.  The Lady Bucs ran in the varsity "E" race and finished 14th out the 19 schools taking part.  Alanah O'Brien  was the highest placed Bogota runner coming in at 46th place.  The men's team won in the Varsity "G" race placing first out of the 19 school field. Bogota placed four runners in the top fifteen. James Draney finished second overall followed by Danny Daurio. Ryan White can in 7th with Cole Geraghty coming in 15th.
  Their next meet is on Wednesday 5-October against Waldwick and Palisades Park. This will take place at Darlington Park  with the Men's race at 4:45p and the Women's race at 5:00p

   Also on Saturday the Bogota Junior Bucs Football teams play Ridgefield at Fiegel Field. The bigger, faster, more disciplined Royals won all three games. The Pee-Wee team was shut-out 0-28, also the Junior team by the same 0-28 score.  The Senior team lost 6-33. They next play on Friday -7-October at Little Ferry. The Pee-Wee game has a 6:00p kickoff with the other divisions to follow.
