On Sunday-6- November the Bogota Marching Buccaneer band took part in the 70th North Jersey Band Festival. This marked the 70th year Bogota was represented at the Festival. It took place at Montclair State University. It was originally schedule for a week prior, but needed to be push back a week to due to the threat of lighting. A total of 17 schools played at this years Festival. This was a non-competitive program which allowed the Musicians to have a chance their skill and share an evening of music with other Students. The Festival came to a close with all the bands assembled for a mass performance of "America The Beautiful."
