   Results of Bogota Sports from the weekend
   Three members of the Bogota/ Weehawken Wrestling squad competed in the Region 2 Tournament   Michael Martinez at 120 lbs,  Danny Gonzalez at 126 lbs,  and  Evan Schroer at 285 lbs were all eliminated after the first round.

  In the state Indoor Meet of Champions held at the Bennet Centre in Toms River  Danny Daurio placed 25th with James Draney coming in at 29th place in their 3200 m race.

  In  The Mens Basketball Bucs played in the third place game of the Bergen Invitational Tournament  taking place at St. Josephs High School in Montvale, NJ.  Bogota played the Dwight- Morrow Raiders from Englewood, NJ. Bogota had a two point  lead after the first half, with the Raiders coming back to lead Bogota 30-34 at the break.  In the third Quarter  the Bucs would pull ahead a gain by the score of 50-48 at the end of three Quarter time.  As time was starting to run down at the end of the game Bogota again trailed by the score of 55- 59.  The Bucs defense shifted  and shut out Dwight- Morrow the rest of the way while scoring the last five points of the night for a 60-59 win. Deiker Padrino had a game high of 21 Points including 5 Three Point baskets. Bogota's record is now 18-7.  On Tuesday -28-February the #4 ranked Bucs play in the NJSIAA North 1 Group 1 Tournament. They will  their first round game play at home  on the Jay Mahoney Court  against #13 North Warren.  The game is scheduled for a 7:00p start.
