Bogota Bucs Baseball

  On Saturday-8-April the Bogota Baseball Bucs played their Home Opener. For the second season in the a row the game needed to be played on the Little League field in Olsen Park, due to water build up in the outfield on the Feigel Field Baseball Diamond.  Bogota Played McNair Academic of Jersey City. Bogota would take the lead scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the first inning, then score at least one run in each of the following times at bat. This would help earn the Bucs a 13-3  win in a six inning game. Starting Pitcher Daniel Sanchez would record five Strike-Outs for Bogota for the win. Argenis Soriano would strike out the side in one inning of relief. Jose Nunez, and Don Stofan would have game highs of 4 Hits, including 2 Doubles a piece.  Mr. Nunez would also lead the game with 3 RBI's
   This moves Bogota record to 2-0. They will next play on Monday-10-April at Home against Midland Park. This will be the make game for the one that was postponed on Friday-7-April. It will be a game time decision on which field it will be played on.
