On Thursday 20-July at approximately 8:30p a short in the the power line at Elm Ave and W.Ft. Lee Rd. cause a power outage in a majority of the Borough. Most of Bogota north of W. Ft. Lee Rd lost electricity. Members of the Bogota Volunteer Fire Dept. secured the area. While crews from PSE&G restores normal service within the hour.
