Bogota Sports

11- September-2017
  On Friday the Bogota Soccer Bucs opened their season at Saddle River Day School. Bogota suffered a 2- 5 defeat to the Rebels. The Bucs scored both their goals in the second half, and both on Penalty Kicks. The next will play at park Ridge on Tuesday-12- September. Kick off is scheduled for 4:00p

  The Bogota Cross Country Squad took part in the Season Opening meet at Darlington park on Saturday-9-September. Both the Women, and Men' squad ran in the Division "C" races.
  The Lady Bucs place 4th in the 9 school field . Alanah O'Brien finish 7th overall with Angelina Jaipersaud placing 11th.
   The Men's Squad place 11th in a 14 school field. Jimmy Gutierrez came in with a second place over- all finish  with Jesus Michel  coming in 19th.
  Bogota's next meet will be on Wednesday-13-September against Waldwick & Bergen Charter School. This will be held at the Darlington Park race course




 This week is the final time to sign-up for bothe Bogota junior Football and junior Cheerleading. The deadline is Wednesday-13-September. if needed please contact Michael Olivo at 201-286-2733 if an extension is needed.
   Cost to sign-up to play football is $150.00, and for Cheerleading is $75.00 All football application must be handed in with payment. For more information please visit the Recreation Commission website at: http://www.bogotaonline.org/#!bogota-rec-center/ctgi       
    Bogota plays in the Bi-County Junior Scholastic Football League (BCJSFL) which consist eight other teams located from Englewood in the North to Secaucus & Weehawken to the South. The teams will  play an a regulation size football field, with all home game will be played at Feigel Field in Bogota.
   All divisions are opened to Girls  and Boys who live-in ,or attend any of the  4 schools in Bogota.
- The Pee-Wee is for the youngest players which is for student from 2nd to 4th grade, and are under 11 years of age.
- The Junior division is for those players who are in 5th & 6st grade and are under the age of 13.
- The Senior division are those players who will be in 7th & 8th grade and are younger the 15 years of age.
