Sports Update

17-September-2017
   Results from the games played by Bogota Varsity team on Saturday-16-2017. 
   The Bogota Soccer Bucs played at Jonathan Dayton in Springfield, NJ. The Bucs were shut-out 0-4. Their record in now 0-4.  They next play at Emerson on Monday-18-September. They will play their first ever Varsity home game in Bogota on Wednesday-20-September. They will host Palisades Park at at the Frank Zakrzewski Field in Olsen Park. Kick off time is at 4:00p 




   The Bogota Cross Country Squads competed in the St.Dominic Invitational meet at Lincoln Park in Jersey City. The Lady Bucs finished seventh out of the 12 teams running in this meet. Angelie Jaipersaud was the top Bogota runner coming in at 27th place out of 87 others Students competing. Alanah O'Brien was the next Lady Buc finisher in 36th place.
  The Men's Squad placed 13th  in the 14 school Varsity Schools taking part. The top Bogota runner was Jesus  Michel who took 38 place out of the 98 other runners.
  Their next meet will be on Tuesday-19-September when the compete against Hawthorne Christian Academy, Saddle River Day School, and Dwight-Englewood at the Garret Mountain race Course.




   The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team played in the  Northern Valley Invitational Tournament at Demarest.  Bogota finished third in  pool play with a 3-3 record. This placed them in the Silver Bracket as a #2 seed. The played #7 Holy Angels in a quarterfinal game. Bogota would with by a score of 25-22. They would next face #6 Mahwah  and need extra points to win 26-24 to earn a spot in the Silver bracket Finals against Passcal Valley.  Bogota would their bracket with a double digit victory 25-14.
  Bogota's next match is on Tuesday-19-September when they host Emerson at Speary Gym with the the first service scheduled at 4:00p.
