Saturday Sports

 Results from Bogota  Sports played on Saturday-29-September.
 The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team competed in the William Paterson Tournament at William Paterson University. For the  third year in a row Bogota would win this tournament.  And for the third year in a row they would defeat Northern Highland 25-17. The Lady Bucs would go undefeated in pool play by beating DePaul 28-8, Leonia 25-23, DuMont 25-15, and Wallington   25-14.
 The next play on Tuesday-2-October against Hawthorne Christian Academy at home in Speary Gym. the first serve is scheduled for 4:00p





   The Bogota Cross Country squad competed at the Garrett Mountain Invitational meet in Woodlawn NJ. Both Varsity Squads  competed in the "C" group. The Lady Bucs finished  6th out the 12 schools fielding full teams. Angeli jaipersaud finish 5th overall, with  Gabrielle grant coming in 29th place.
   The Men's squad finished fifth out of a field of 16 other teams. Jimmy Gutierrez placed fifth overall with Jesus Michel coming in at number 11th.
  In the JV race for small schools  the Bogota Men's team would finish in seventh place out of 15 schools competing.  Chris Perry would be the top Men's runner finishing in 35th place and Syed-Ham Hussaini taking a 37th place.
  Their next meet is on Wednesday-3-October against Hawthorne Christian Academy, Saddle River Day School , and Bergen Charter School.  This will take place at the Darlington Park Race Course  starting at 4:00p





  The Bogota Junior Bucs Football team hosted  the Ridgefield Park/ Little Ferry Scarlet Devils
    The Pee-Wee team lost 6-31. The Junior team scored the first 13 Points of the game, only to have the Scarlet Devils get 21 unanswered scores  to win 21-13.  In the Senior Game both teams traded scores to finish the game with a 13-13 tie. Noth the Pee-Wee , and Junior team have records of 0-3. The Senior team now have a record of 1-1-1. They next play Friday-5- October when the travel to Ft. Lee. The Pee-Wee game is scheduled to have a 6:00p kick-off with the other divisions to follow.
