On Monday-7- January the Bogota Middle School Bucs Basketball teams hosted the teams from Ridgfield. These were played on the Patty Ciccone Court at Moore Gym. The Lady Bucs played the first game. They quickly opened a 10 Point lead to start the game. The Lady Royals closed withing 4 by the end of the first Quarter. By halftime Bogota had opened a 25 Point lead on their way to a 49-14 win.
The Men's team fell behind early and trailed by one Point at the end of the first Quarter. Bogota out scored Ridgefield in the second Quarter and took a 21-18 lead into half time. After the restart would add to its lead only to have the Royals slowly close the gap. In the last minutes Ridgefield would tie the game at 36. When the visitors would be award free throws with under 10 second left they would convert one and come away with a 37-36 win over Bogota.
They next on Wednesday-9-January against vs Harrison. the first game is the Lady Bucs at 4:00p . This will be followed by Men’s team at 5:00p. On the Patty Ciccone Court at Moore Gym .
