International Night

    The Steen PTO held their annual International Night food festival last night. Used as a fund raiser to help the Steen PTO, it is a chance to show off the cultural mix of the Borough. Along with the food that are made by the Parents from Steen, there was an added flavor by many of the local restaurants in town. The established ones such as Vasili's Taverna on Queen Anne Rd, and La Famiglia on Main St. shown a taste of Greek & Italian food. Asian favorites  came from the Bogota Chinese Restaurant, on River Rd, and the China Dragon , on Main St. A good number of new restaurant, that opened through-out the year also added a different flavor.  Starting with Wing Works, on Main St and the Queen Anne Deli, from Queen Anne Rd. had a mix of hot wings & fresh cold cut sandwiches. Then a move to the exotic with the Gateway of India also on Queen Anne Rd. to Riveria Maya Mexican on E. Ft.Lee Rd. A national chain of California Pizza Kitchen, from the Garden State Plaza, came in to match up with all the local Pizzeria's. The local Pizzeria's of Angelo's,  Master Pizza, Palisade Pizza, & Mona Lisa Pizza all had offerings to try.
  Principal Anna Falco had as her guest School Superintendent Dr. Letizia Pantoliano,  along with Ms. Falco's parents to enjoy an evening of local dinning











Also a chance for kids to work off their meal.
