    The Borough of Bogota will hold its annual free rabies clinic. This will still take place at the  W. Broad St. Fire House and will run from 10:00a to 12:00 noon.  
This year it is asked that all appointments need to be made by reservation. 
 -All dogs must be restrained with a with a non-retractable 6 foot leash. Other  safety controls to allow unimpeded access for the veterinarian may be used for smaller pets. 
-All cats must be transported in suitable pet carriers.

Spring Planting

   Bogota Beautiful will host their annual Spring Clean-up for the Planters located on W. Main St. This will take place on Saturday-6-June and begin at 11:00a. This year it is asked that anyone wishing to volunteer for this event to resister  in advance to become a part of this event. Participants will be a  assigned a specific planter to maintain. This will allow the volunteer stay with a single group, while following safe distance guild lines. To reserve a place, as an individual or a group please go to:  https://www.facebook.com/events/615998642594630/    The assignment of planters will be made before the event is schedule to start. Individuals may be place with others, or be added to an existing group. Volunteers are asked to bring personal facial protection along with a sturdy pair of work, or gardening, gloves. Any other gardening equipment , for small areas, is also recommended.  Some equipment may be supplied.  The type of plants and flowers will be determined on the day of the event. 
   Bogota Beautiful is also asking for donations of funding or material for this event. Supplies needed include Potting Soil, Mulch, yard bags and water to be shared with the other volunteers. Anyone wishing to donate flowers or other plants please contact Bogota Beautiful to insure the donation will complement their design ideas.
