ELEVATED THREAT OF WILDFIRE SPREAD CONTINUES ON WEDNESDAY.

Dry conditions with the combination of low relative humidity values
between 20 and 30 % along with frequent wind gusts of 20 to
25 mph will create another day of elevated risk for fire spread.

Exercise caution handling any potential ignition sources, including
machinery, cigarettes, and matches. Any fires that ignite will have
the potential to spread quickly.

This forecast considers meteorological, fuel, and land conditions
and has been developed in coordination with state fire and land
management officials.

This Week's Events

  The Borough has started a Hometown Heroes Banner program. This will allow residents of Bogota to honor a family member who serviced in the Armed Servies. The cost of a banners will be $150.00 payable to the Borough of Bogota. Registration for the 2025 Bogota Summer Camp is now open. The camp will run from Monday-30-June to Friday-8-August from 9:00a to 4:00p. It will be held at the Recreation Center at 162 W. Main St. Bogota

The Friends of the Bogota Library are hosting a book sale starting on Thursday-1-May to Saturday-3-May during regular business hours. at 11:00aMay 1-3. All proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Bogota Library, which directly benefits the Bogota Library. In recent years, the Friends have helped purchase extra decorations for our yearly Haunted Library, a new book cart, new display cases, a Cricut machine, and more. This is open to the Public

The Bogota Band Parents will hold its Spring Town Wide Garage Sale. This will take place on Saturday-2-October. The sale will run from 10:00a to 4:00p rain or shine. The cost to participate is $15.00 this will allow the seller to have their address listed on the official garage sale map and they will receive yard sign for their address show that are a participant. Process from the registration fee will go to help support the Bogota High School Marching Buccaneer Band. 
  The Bogota Band Parents is another group of Families who join together to help fund the High School program when School funds are not available.  Some of the help provided is trip planning and addition transportation to away football game, and Band competitions. Providing chaperoning for trips and other items needed to a successful Band program.
