Recap of the start of the 2025-26 Winter Season for the Bogota Bucs Varsity sports teams.
Tuesday-16-December
The Bogota Bowling Bucs lost to the Park Ridge Owls by a score of 7 to 0. Nico Lucarelli had a team high with a 411 set with a 146 in the first game. Owl's David Kim had a match high with a 582 set and a 206 third Game.
Wednesday- 17-December
The Lady Bucs Basketball team opened their season at Manchester Regional Lady Falcons. Bogota opened with a 13 to 6 lead in the first 12 minutes. The home team would pull ahead by halftime 18 to 16. After the restart the Lady Falcon had a 4-point advantage going into the final quarter. The Lady Bucs finished the game with a come from behind for a 39 to 38 road win.
Bogota's Emma Fowler had a game high with 19 Points including 3 Three Point Baskets. Amber Nunez led all players with14 rebounds and Cristina Ter-Meliksetian recorded 3 Blocks
Manchester Regional Marjury Lorenzo led her team with 16 Points, with Precious Mitchell having 12 Rebounds.

The Lady Bucs record is 1-0. They next play on Friday-19-December for their Home Opener against New Milford. This will start at 4:00p on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym.
Thursday-18-December
The Bogota Bowling Bucs lost to the Leonia Lions by a score of 7 to 0. Nico Lucarelli had a team high with a 484 set with a team high with a 208 in the first game. Lions's Yeh-Sung Jun had a match high with a 509 Set. Jonathan Kang led all bowlers with a and a 225 second Game.
Bogota's record is now 2-2. They next play on Monday-22-December against Hasbrouck Height at 4:00p in Parkway Lanes Elmwood Park.
The Men's Basketball Bucs open their season at Butler on Friday-19-December with a 7:00p tip-off.
The Indoor Track Bucs open their season on Saturday-20-December with a meet at Garfield.
