Bogota
The Borough has started a Hometown Heroes Banner program. This will allow residents of Bogota to honor a family member who serviced in the Armed Servies. The cost of a banners will be $150.00 payable to the Borough of Bogota. WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4:00p THIS AFTERNOON TO 1:00p SATURDAY. -WHAT:
Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 9 inches. -WHERE:
Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey, and southeast New York. -WHEN:
FROM 4:00p THIS AFTERNOON TO 1:00p SATURDAY.
-IMPACTS:
Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.







From Bogota Police Department
Although the Police have suspended overnight parking for the Christmas Holiday. Predicted Snow Fall of over 2 "a SNOW EMERGENCY has been called, there will be NO PARKING on any roadway in town.
Vehicles will ONLY be permitted to park in the listed overnight parking areas.
BOGOTA PD ALERT:
4 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW EXPECTED IN THE LATE AFTERNOON INTO SATURDAY MORNING. PARKING WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE WEST SIDE OF LARCH AVENUE BETWEEN HOMESTEAD PLACE AND MUNN AVENUE, AS WELL AS IN DESIGNATED OVERNIGHT PARKING AREAS. VEHICLES PARKED IN ANY OTHER AREA WILL NEED TO BE MOVED OFF OF THE STREET. VEHICLES NOT MOVED ARE SUBJECT TO TOW.

Borough Hall will reopen on Monday-29-December
Public Library will reopen on Friday-26-December
Recycling Centre will open on Saturday-27-December




From Bergen County

Winter Storm Warning for Bergen County from 4:00p today through 1:00p Saturday. Snow totals of 4-8 inches are expected with locally higher amounts possible. Check your local municipalities website/social media for service delays or cancellations. If you need to be on the road during this time, Please use caution.

Bogota

  Isabels School of Dance will a trail classes of Introduction to Argentine Tango starting at 2:00p.  Price is $5.00 in advance. This will be held in their new Studio Space at 36a W. Ft. Lee Rd, Bogota NJ.

  Isabels School of Dance will have a Winter Work-out break starting at 12:00p. for Students ages 5 to 8 and 1:00p for Students ages 9 to 12 Price is $15.00/day or $50.00/week.

 The Bogota Public Library will be closed at 2:00p for the New Years Holiday. They will reopen on Friday-2-January, 2026 at their regular hours.

Thursday-1-January, 2026
Bogota    
 The Borough of Bogota will hold their Sine-Die meeting. This will be followed by the swearing in of the candidates who won the 2025 General Elections. The meeting will start at 6:00p and be held in the Senior Center, located at 375 Larch Avenue. The oath of office will be given Councilman Mr. Pat McHale and Councilman Mr. John Mitchell
