2020 Municipal Elections

  Unofficial results from the 2020 Municipal Elections in Ridgefield Park, NJ and Teaneck, NJ. These tallies were posting in on North Jersey . com before the 19-May certification date.  No updates, or changes of vote total have been announced. 

For the Village of Ridgefield Park, NJ:
  Ten candidate competed for the five seats on the Board of Commissioners available this year. The Ridgefield Park Municipal Elections are an at large processes, with no national party  affiliations attached to any of the candidates. Each of the five candidates receiving the most vote will win the seats on the Board of Commissioners. After the new board is sworn in those five Commissioners will then elect the next Mayor of Ridgefield Park.  
  The Reorganization meeting and swearing in will take place of Thursday-19-May and is schedule to start at 7:30p. First the will be the Sin Die to finish any official business of the current Board of Commissioners. Then the Caucus meeting to seat the new Board of Commissioners This will be a virtual meeting available on:

For the Township of Teaneck:
 There were six candidates vying for the three seats on the council available this year. The Teaneck Municipal Elections are at large processes, with no national party       affiliations attached to any of the candidates. 
  The top three candidates with the most votes will win the seat on the Council.  The elected candidates will be sworn in at the Township's Re-organization meeting  schedule for Wednesday-1- July-2020. The seven members of council will then elect the next Mayor of Teaneck and two Deputy Mayors.
