Highlights from the March meeting of Bogota Beautiful. They decided on a terra cast planters for their Bloomin Bogota project. They expect to receive them in time for a to have a planting date of 17- May. They plan to go before Borough Council to find an approved location , and a time will then be announced. They also announced that an April fundraiser will take place at Bowler City in Hackensack, NJ on Sunday 13- April from 2-4p. More detail will be announced in the near future. Bowler City is located at 85 Midtown Bridge St. Hackensack, NJ.
Two members of Bogota Beautiful will try and meet with the property owners of some of the vacant storefronts on W.Main St. The hope is to be allowed to use the open store fronts to display works of art from local residents until the store can be rented.
Bogota Beautiful also has an opening for a Treasurer and a Project Coordinator
