 Results from Bogota Varsity Sports from Tuesday-8-January.
  Bogota/ Ridgefield Park Wrestler  Andre Ruiz has been ranked #4  in the  120 lbs class with a record of 16-4 by North Jersey .com
 The Bogota Bowling Bucs lost to Midland Park 7-0 at the Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park NJ.  The Panthers'  Timothy Meina, and Ryan Gibbons would have high  games of 190 Pins. Mr. Meina  would finish with a match high of 469 Pins. Spencer Mazzella would have the highest game for Bogota with a 151. Ali Salam would have the match high for the Bucs with a 383. Their next mat is on Thursday-10-January against Bergen Arts and Science  Charter School. This will take place at the Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park NJ. and is scheduled to start 4:00p
  The Mens Basketball Bucs traveled to Waldwick to play the Warriors. Bogota would have an 8-5 lead after the first Quarter. For the next three quarters  the Bucs would score at least 20 Points per session. This would earn Bogota 75-42 win. Ashanti Caviness would have a game high of 28 Points. Evan Meberg would lead all shooters with 3 Three Point Baskets. Bogota's record is now 6-2. They next play on Thursday-10- January against Emerson on Jay Mahoney Court at Speary Gym. The tip-off is scheduled for 7:00p.

  The Lady Bucs hosted the Lady Warriors from Waldwick. The first quater had Waldwick take a 10-2 lead. In the next 8 minutes would put the game away by shutting out Bogota and have a 31-2 halftime lead.  Waldwick would post a 46-11 win. Kelly Griffin and Casey James would each finish with game highs of 10 Points for Waldwick. Bogota would be lead by Maryann Gesmundo with 5 Points, including the Bucs lone Three Point Basket. Bogota's record is now 0-7. They next play on Thursday-10- January at Emerson ,the tip-off is scheduled for 4:00p.

Middle School Basketball

8-January-2019
  On Monday-7- January the Bogota Middle School Bucs Basketball teams hosted  the teams from Ridgfield. These were played on the Patty Ciccone Court at Moore Gym. The Lady Bucs played the first game. They  quickly opened a 10 Point lead to start the game. The Lady Royals closed withing  4 by the end of the first Quarter.  By halftime Bogota had opened a 25 Point lead on their way to a 49-14 win.
  The Men's team  fell behind early and trailed by one Point at the end of the first Quarter. Bogota out scored Ridgefield in the second Quarter and took a 21-18 lead into half time. After the restart would add to its lead only to have the Royals slowly close the gap.  In the last minutes Ridgefield would tie the game at 36. When the visitors would be award free throws with under 10 second left they would convert one and come away with a 37-36 win over Bogota. 
  They next on Wednesday-9-January against vs Harrison.  the first game is the  Lady Bucs at 4:00p .  This will be followed by  Men’s team at 5:00p. On the Patty Ciccone Court at  Moore Gym .

Bogota Sports

   On Monday-7- January the Bogota Bowling Bucs had a match against the Hawthorne Christian Academy Defenders. This took place at the Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park, NJ. Hawthorne Christian would win the first game  by 3 pins. Bogota would win the next two games and record 5-2 victory. Phillip Duncan would have match highs of a 202 game, and a 520 total for the Defenders. Spencer Mazzella would score a high of 154 in the third game and a team high of 434 for Bogota. 
   Their next match is on Tuesday-8-January against Midland Park. This will take place at the Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park, NJ. First game is scheduled for 4:00p

  The Men's Basketball Bucs hosted the undefeated Rebels from Saddle River Day School. After the two team traded Three point baskets to start the game, Bogota would take a brief two Point lead. The rebels then used their speed and accuracy to take over the game. Saddle River  would build a 20-13 lead in the First Quarter and control play fro the rest of the game. The Rebels would out rebound Bogota, and found the bottom of the net on a regular basis. Saddle River Day would keep their 2019 season perfect with a 72-51 win. Bogota's record is now 5-2. Connor Cyran would lead the Rebles with 22 points. Saddle River Day School's  Sebastian Gianotti would lead all scores with 4 Three point baskets. Kenjiee Polanco would lead Bogota with a game high of 26 Points and have 3 Three Pointers for the Bucs. 
 They next play at Waldwick with the tip-off at 7:00p,  Junior Varsity game precedes at 5:30p,  Freshman game precedes at 4:00p.
