Into the Woods

 On Thursday-5-March, the Bogota High School Drama Club held their final dress rehearsal for their Spring Musical production of “Into the Woods.” This was open to the Fifth-grade class, as well as Students from the Middle School.
 This is based on the Broadway Musical from 1987, which combines several Fairy Tales by the Brothers Grimm. This has more back round stories of the  characters. It also explores the consequences after having their wishes granted. Along with what can happen after a Happily Ever After.
 The production is directed by Ms. Mary Hochgesang, Vocal Director, and Conductor Mr. Michael Prachthauser. Set Design by Mr. Joseph Hochgesang. Lighting Design  by Ms. Alexandra Soriano
and Mr. Lucas Mejia, With Stage Manager Ms. Alexandra Soriano.
  The Scenery was constructed the High School Students. With some of the set painted by the Bogota Middle School Art Club.
 The performance features: Mr. Lucas Mejia as the Baker and Ms. Annabell Riccardi as the Bakers' Wife. Ms. Tsering Lama playing Cinderella. Mr. Jared Clark as Jack, with Ms. Kathleen Aparicio as his Mother. Chelsea Pena Mordan in the part of Little Red Riding Hood. Ms. Lola Hernandez as the Witch. With Mr. Parker Leong as the Narrator
 Their opening night performance is Friday-6-March in the Bogota High School Auditorium.
  Doors open at 7:00p, with Curtain at 7:30p. Saturday-7-March there is a Saturday Matinee  at 1:00p with an evening performance at 7:30p.
Tickets are $10.00 for Adults and $8.00 for Students and Senior Citizens and are available at the door.
