St. Joseph Festival

 6-September-2022

 The St. Joseph Church in Bogota will hold their Family Fun and International Food Festival starting on Friday 16- September to Sunday-18-September. Friday it will be opened at 6:00p, Saturday at 4:00p, and Sunday at 2:00p.  Friday will be movie night. This will take place at St. Joseph Church located at 115 E. Ft. Lee Rd at the corner of Palisade Ave. in Bogota, NJ. There will be rides, and games set up in the parking lot on the west side of Palisade Ave across from the Church. The International Food Festival will again be in the lawn north of St. Joseph's itself. There will also be a " 50/50 raffle" with tickets for $20.00 per ticket. 
     The Carnival is also looking for volunteers to help either with the game booth, help sell food, sell raffle tickets, and help with the setting up, and the clean-up at the end of the evening. Volunteers can be anyone over the age of 16. With volunteers under 16 needs to be with a parent to work the game booth, but can still help with setting, & cleaning up.  Anyone wishing to Volunteer should contact St. Joseph at 201-342-6300

Karate Classes

 6-September-2022

  The Bogota Recreation Centre is offer Karate classes this Fall. These will be taught by Mr. Larry Barr and will be held at the Recreation Centre.  Mr. Barr will teach all level of experience.  This will be a 10-week course starting on Friday 9-September and run until Friday 11-November. Session will begin at 4:00p, Students from age 6 and higher are welcome to attend. Cost is $100.00 for Bogota residents and $125.00 for non-residents. All Student must register to attend at:  www.bogotarec.org
 The Bogota Recreation Centre is located at 162 W.Main St. Bogota NJ 
Work out clothing, shirt, shorts, sweatpants and socks must be worn at all times.
