State of Emergency

     Bogota Mayor Pat McHale has declared that the Borough of Bogota  will be under a sate of emergency until further notice. Governor Chris Christie has already put the entire state of New Jersey  under a state of emergency. All of which is the result of the impending hurricane named IRENE.
   As of 7:00p Saturday 27-August ALL on the street parking will be suspended. This will effect ALL the borough streets with NO EXCEPTIONS. Residents are requested to park all motor vehicles off the streets until further notice. Any vehicle parked on the streets after this time will be towed.  The Bogota Police are also asking residents to limit travel in order to keep roads clear for emergency, and clean-up vehicles.
   In order to prepair for a loss of power , or other emergency, resident should have canned ,and other non-perishable food items, a manual can opener, flash-lights( with full batteries) along with a battery operated radio.
