Tree saplings

  On Saturday29-March members of The Bogota Green Team and Environmental Commission gave out 5 varieties of seedlings as part of the New Jersey Sandy Recovery A total of 50 sapling were given out that day . Residents were provided up to 5 seedlings with instructions on planting. More are available and will be handed out to residents at the April 3, 2104 council meeting or by contacting Administrator Chip Greiner. This is part of the State of New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign to help replace trees that were damaged, or knock down by Hurricane Sandy.  Bogota was one of a hundred Municipalities in New Jersey that have been given trees to replant in their town. On Saturday 5- April the Bogota Green Team and Environmental Commission will be planting trees in Olsen Park.
