On Tuesday-7-February the Bogota Board of Education held their first meeting of the Month. In his Superintendent's reports Mr. Damien Kennedy first asked the Student Ms. Valerie Brito. She gave a quick summary of the Varsity Sports program and mentioned the upcoming school Musical.
In his report Superintendent Kennedy said approximately 400 people have taken part in the District's meeting about the upcoming Referendum. This is for both in-person and on-line meetings. He added that future PTO meeting will again be available on-line. There will be a second full townhall meeting with date and time to be announced.  Superintendent Kennedy confirmed that the Tuesday-14-March polling date will still be a half day for the District's School.  The two buildings used as polling places, Bogota High School and Bixby School will have extra security and be arranged to limit the contact with the Students and voters in the morning.  Polls will be open at their regular hours starting at 6:00a to 8:00p.
