The Borough has started a Hometown Heroes Banner program. This will allow residents of Bogota to honor a family member who serviced in the Armed Servies. The cost of a banners will be $150.00 payable to the Borough of Bogota. Ridgefield Park, NJ
The Village of Ridgefield Park has made available the sign up and the trial period for their Food Waste Municipal Composting Program through the end of the year.

Leaf season is from Monday-14-October until Monday-23-December. Homeowners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting in the street, along the curb, in front of their residents. It is asked that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding, or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday-23-December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

Projects can include stuffed animals, clothes, and other geeky goodies. Registration required. All supplies will be provided. The Planning Board meeting starting at 7:00p In the Council Chambers on the second fl. of 375 Larch Ave. It is open to the Public.
The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge # 1506 will host a Tuesday Night Dinner of French Dip with French Fries and desert. This will take place in the Elks lodge is located at the 30 Spruce St. Ridgefield Park, NJ. The event will start at 6:00p a with a donation of $12.00 per person. Dinner will include salad and desert. Regular trash pick-up will take place on Friday-29-November.
Note: The recycling Center has moved to Bogota Swim Club Parking lot at the end of Feller Pl.
