   Bogota Blog NJ learned that on Tuesday 7-Oct. a Prescription Discount Drug Card plan will be available to any Resident of Bogota. This is part of the "Mayor's Wellness Program". The Drug Card program will begin on Tuesday at the Bogota Senior Citizens Center, located on the second floor of the Library at 375 Larch Ave. The event will begin at 1:00p The program will offer Bogota residents a 75% discount on Name & Generic prescriptions. There will also be an offer for $39  prescription eyeglass.

Bogota   
   The St.Joseph Academy will be holding a Pasta Dinner & Karaoke night. This will take place in the St. Joseph Gymnasium with the doors opening at 6:30p. Advance tickets at $12 for anyone over 13, and $9 for anyone 12 and under. Tickets at the door will be $15 and $10 respectfully.    The Elks lodge # 1506 will be holding a " Beer & Brats" night Doors will open at 6:00p and will go until 9:00p Tickets are $15 and will include Beer on Tap, Salad & Bratwurst.  For more information , or to make a reservation please call Maryann Applegate at 201-522-6427.    Folk Music with Jacob Bernz Oct. 11 08:00 pm at Puffin Cultural Forum
Born and raised in the heart of Hudson Valley, Jacob Bernz grew up surrounded by musical friends and colleagues of his father, including Pete Seeger. He was a founding member of Clearwater’s Power of Song and is at the forefront of a new generation of musicians carrying on Pete’s legacy. Jacob has shared the stage with many luminaries such as Arlo Guthrie, Guy Davis, Tom Chapin, Peter Yarrow and his two-time Grammy-winning father, David Bernz. Jacob presents his interpretations of folk classics as well as original songs. The Puffin Forum is located at 20 Puffin Way , Teaneck NJ

  The Steen  PTO will host their second annual Fall Festival. This will take place in Olsen Park  Bogota, NJ starting at 12:00 noon and going until 6:00p

Bogota
  The Bogota Public Library will hold their annual  Haunted Library. This will start at 11:00a and go until 12:30p. There will be games & Halloween themed crafts. They plan to have a photobooth this year along with a spooky movie

 The Bogota Volunteer Fire Dept. Hose Co.#2 will hold their annual Pancake Breakfast starting at 8:00a to 1:00p  Tickets are $8.00 for  Adults and $5.00 for Seniors & Students. Process will go to the General operating Fund for the Central Ave Fire House.
