Weekend Events

   Note:  On Monday 13- Oct. there will be not regular trash pick due to the Columbus Day Holiday. Anyone whose regular pick-up day is a Monday will have their Trash picked-up on Thursday 16- Oct.  Also Borough Hall  & the Bogota Public Library will be closed for the Holiday 

   Some event happening in and around Bogota for the weekend starting on Thursday 9- Oct.

Friday 10-Oct.
Bogota   
   The St.Joseph Academy will be holding a Pasta Dinner & Karaoke night. This will take place in the St. Joseph Gymnasium with the doors opening at 6:30p. Advance tickets at $12 for anyone over 13, and $9 for anyone 12 and under. Tickets at the door will be $15 and $10 respectfully. Friday 10-Oct.
Bogota 

 The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team will  have a Home Match at  Speary Gym against Cresskill  scheduled to start at 7:00p 

The Bogota Bucs Soccer team plays a Home game against Emerson.  This will be classified as a  Junior Varsity Game. And will be play at the Palisade Park Sports Complex with a 7:00p kick-off.

Saturday-11-Oct.
Bogota
 The Bogota Bucs Football team will play a Home Game against Queen of Peace at Fiegel Field with a 1:00p Kick-off

Saturday-11-Oct.
Hackensack, NJ 

 On Saturday & Sunday 11 & 12 Oct  they will compete in The Garden State Classic Tournament. This will be held in  Rothman Center on the Fairleigh Dickerson  University in Hackensack, NJ

Ridgefield Park, NJ 
   The Elks lodge # 1506 will be holding a " Beer & Brats" night Doors will open at 6:00p and will go until 9:00p Tickets are $15 and will include Beer on Tap, Salad & Bratwurst.  For more information , or to make a reservation please call Maryann Applegate at 201-522-6427.    Folk Music with Jacob Bernz Oct. 11 08:00 pm at Puffin Cultural Forum

Born and raised in the heart of Hudson Valley, Jacob Bernz grew up surrounded by musical friends and colleagues of his father, including Pete Seeger. He was a founding member of Clearwater’s Power of Song and is at the forefront of a new generation of musicians carrying on Pete’s legacy. Jacob has shared the stage with many luminaries such as Arlo Guthrie, Guy Davis, Tom Chapin, Peter Yarrow and his two-time Grammy-winning father, David Bernz. Jacob presents his interpretations of folk classics as well as original songs. The Puffin Forum is located at 20 Puffin Way , Teaneck NJ

Sunday-12-Oct.
Bogota  
 The Bogota Junior Bucs Football team  will play Cliffside Park at  Fiegel Field. Kick-off for the Pee-Wee game will be at 11:00a with the other games to follow. This will be the Final Home game for the Junior Bucs this season.

Monday-13-Oct.
Woodland Park, NJ
The Bogota Cross Country Squads will be running in the 2014 NJIC Divisional Championship at the Garret Mountain racecourse in Woodland Park, NJ. The Boys Patriot Division race will start at 2:30p. The Girls Patriot Division Race will start at  3:10p
