The police departments from both Bogota & Ridgefield Park are hosting a Beefsteak Dinner on Fri. 4-Nov. This is a fund raiser for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington DC. The dinner will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Ridgefield Park.( at the corner of Bergen Ave & Park St.) Doors open at 6:00p and goes to 11:00p. Tickets are $45.00 which will include dinner and entertainment. For tickets email the group at tickets@matterofhonor.org
This event is sponsored by the Police Unity Tour Riders, a group started in1997 to help raise awareness for Officers who have died in the line of duty. It was founded by Officer Patrick Montuore of the Florham Park P.D. in New Jersey. The P.U.T.R. also raises money for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial which is located in Washington DC.
