On Saturday-1-April the Bogota High School Athletic Department hosted their Sadie Hawkins Dance. This took place with the cooperation of the Bogota Advisory Committee on Substance Abuse (BACSA). Proceeds from this event will go to help fund the Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball programs. Bogota Athletic Director Coach Brad DiRupo said "That it had been almost four years since the last dance, and this will be the first for most of the Students. And in the past, it was one of the most popular events held in the High School." Approximately 100 High School Students took part in an evening of dancing and music. The evening ended with the Bogota High School Dance "Benevents"" giving a performance in costume which were inspired by Venice Carnival.
