On Friday-30-January the
Lady Scarlet-Bucs Wrestling Squad took on the Lady Bulldogs from Passaic Tech.
This was held in the Speary Gym of Bogota High School.
The Senior Wrestlers were presented with their trophy for being the Team Champions in the Cutter Classic.
All twelve weight groups were competed, and all bouts were decided by Pin Falls. The Lady Bulldogs would score a 42 to 30 win.
The Lady Scarlet-Bucs won five of the bouts. Chastelyn Hechavarria Vasquez at 107 lbs., Jaralee Rodriguez at 132 lbs., Gabriel Correa at 145 lbs., Juliana Vargas at 152 lbs., and Ashely Vilela at 185 lbs. won their bouts. Lady Bulldogs winners were Kaylee Rodrigues at 100 lb., Stephanie Tepale at 114lbs., Cristelle Fiestas at 120 lbs., Leilani Assia at 126 lbs., Stephanie Pluma at 138lbs., Athena Galindo at 165lbs., and Analia Garcia at 235 lbs.
Lady Scarlet-Bucs Wrestling Squad are now 10-2. Their next meet is Wed Feb 4 against Kearny at 6:00p. It will take place in the Bell Gym.
