Some events happening in and around Bogota and Ridgefield Park for the weekend starting Thursday-21-May.  Additional information will be added when confirmed.

Bogota
The Borough has started a Hometown Heroes Banner program. This will allow residents of Bogota to honor a family member who serviced in the Armed Servies. The cost of a banners will be $150.00 payable to the Borough of Bogota.  The Bogota Public Schools will have a half day and will reopen on Tuesday -26-May May at their regular time.

Monday-25-May
Memorial Day
Bogota
All Government Offices will be closed and reopen on Tuesday-26-May at their regular time.
The Bogota Public Library will be closed and reopen on Tuesday-27-May 
There will be no Trash or Vegetation pick-up.

The Bogota VFW Ralph Hall post #5561, and the Bogota American Legion Clifford Dunn Post #117 will hold for their Memorial Day events for 2026. This year Memorial Day will be on Monday-26-May. 
-The Fire Fighters Memorial Ceremony will start at 10:30a. In front of Borough Hall.
-The Borough of Bogota Memorial Day Service starting at 11:00a. This will take place in front of Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave Bogota, NJ. This event is free and opened to the Public.  








 
 All Government Offices will be closed and reopen on Tuesday-26-May at their regular time.

The Ridgefield Park Volunteer Fire Department will hold their Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony. This will take place at Euclid Ave. and Cedar St. Starting at 9:30a. This is open to the Public. 
The Ridgefield Park VFW will hold their Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony. This will take place at Euclid Ave. and Mt. Vernon St. Starting at 11:00a. This is open to the Public. 
 



Tuesday-26-May

Planning Board meeting at 7:00p. in the Council Chambers on the second Fl. of 375 Larch Ave.

Bogota 
 
 The Bogota Public Library will have "Tiny But Mighty" story time reading starting at 10:30a. This is for Children ages 3 three years and younger. This will include stories and songs.
